My moms friends husband passed this year and his wife wants to start getting some of his stuff out of the garage. She asked us over and we found these (as well as an old 57 flat head ford v8, with the shell sitting in the back yard)
can anyone tell me anything about the Honda or the bultaco, like what they're worth and stuff like that
Pretty sure the Honda is a ‘74 mt250 of some variant and the bultaco is 370cc
Both under 1000 original miles but need a bit of work

It depends if he has the title for the bikes. Without the title you probably can only sell them for a pittance

I have a scar on the inside of my right leg that looks very much like the pattern on the heat shild of that Honda. I got it from jumping on my dad’s bike while wearing shorts, when I was a kid.

I don’t know what they are worth but they take me right back to my childhood. In fact one of my uncles had a Bultaco that he used to race around my grandfather’s farm on.

They both have compression, but probably need a thorough carb clean and fresh gas. They’ve been sitting for at least 10 years.
Other than that I think the mt250 needs a new tank.

Haha yeah I got on it to move it and noticed the head shield made contact with my leg. I still have a burn from my dirt bike when I was a kid right there

I think we may be able to locate a title for them. The lady who owned them is going to look but the Honda still has a plate on it so id imagine they had it

I do too!
Me and my dad are going to wash out the carb either this weekend or next so I’ll keep everyone posted. Though, my dad says it’s seriously quick. And it even came with the original aluminum fenders!

Haha thanks. Unfortunately it’s not all good luck. We are good at flipping stuff so these will be rehabbed and sold off in a few weeks. We will be splitting 50/50 with the owner.
However if I have my way I will convince my dad to keep the Honda so I can buy it once I land on my feet in Boston in a few months. I would love a little cafe racer to zip around the city.
There’s a few other things we found in the garage that the lady just wants us to drag out which I think we can make a bit on to offset the costs. so I’ve got high hopes for that little 250

Well-they’re both over 25 years (no title needed in ct.)
The Bultaco is an enduro. Alpina?

Not sure if the bultaco is an alpina. It might be though cause the only other 360 from that year that I saw is definitely not the one we have

Just quietly slip it out behind the garage and put a tarp over it, Then pile some firewood around it, until it can’t be seen. Then grab it in a few months.
